My old Tenderizer was perhaps 45 years old and seldom used. While visiting, I used a modern Tenderizer and found some improvements. When I got home I looked for a new one, this is not what I had in mind, but decided to give it a try. It's so easy. I use it a lot. Three sides - smooth, medium and big bumps. The head is angled just right for striking flat. The weight is just right to contol force.
Scaloppini anyone?
Looks nice, but plastic is cheap,

I bought this because I love the Anolon cookware. I thought this looked nice, it matched my pans and I loved the rubber grip handle.
The mallet its-self is fine, but when using it the plastic tip on the top of the mallet broke off. I glued it back together, but it still comes off after washing and using again.
The style of the handle has since changed, I was going to replace it. I dont like the new style, its not as attractive in my opinion, so this will have to do for now. The flaw is merely cosmetic.
