What surprised me the most about this cookbook is the number of eggs that are required for each recipe. Many of the recipes call for 4 or 5 eggs--not necessarily a bad thing, just unexpected. The recipes in the book are: (1) Marble Cake, (2) Pound Cake, (3) Confetti Cake, (4) Cherry-Caramel Cake, (5) Orange Cake, (6) Apricot Poppy-Seed Bread, (7) Apple Cake, (8) Raspberry Cake, (9) Plum Jelly Cake, (10) Fruit Bread, (11) Finnish Nut Cake, (12) Fruit and Nut Roll, (13) Chocolate Almond Cake, (14) Red Wine Bread, (15) Hazelnut Swirl Bread, (16) Pineapple Pound Cake, (17) Caracas Cake, (18) Shaker Maker Cake, (19) Icebox Cake, and (20) Cinnamon Raisin Bread. The full-page photographs of the "finished product" are beautiful and inspiring. Overall, a very well-done cookbook (far more than I expected for the 2+ dollars I paid for it).

Nice little book designed to show off the uses of Kaiser loaf pans. The recipes are almost all deserts and they call for pans of different sizes. Kaiser gives a multipier to size a recipe up or down to a larger or smaller loaf pan which I guess is okay. Giving the measurements for the different sizes next to each other in 3 separate columns would have been better and that's why it's not a 5 star review. I ordered the book by itself and paid under $2 for the book including shipping. If you can get the same deal by all means buy it.

I picked up this very inexpensive book... for the recipes. I've made two of the recipes and they are delicious. One, I hand shaped on a flat... the other I used one of my already-owned loaf pans. Both of the recipes turned out well. They provide all instructions, including for glazes and icing. Book is nicely constructed, thin and about the size of notebook paper - 8x11 or so. Contains about 20 recipes with beautiful full color, full page pictures of the finished product opposite the recipes. If you think you'd like to make some different loaf breads/cakes... this book is worth having! Use it as a fill item when shopping. :)
