Calphalon is celebrating their 25th anniversary and offering Calphalon addicts like me a chance to collect more of their cookware and bakeware items at terrific prices. This Calphalon Commercial Bakeware Set includes a Jellyroll Pan (13 inches x 18 inches), a Medium Loaf Pan (4.5 inches x 8.5 inches x 2.75 inches), and a 6-Cup Muffin Pan. Calphalon bakeware has recently undergone an upgrade of its interior coating - the new Commercial finish is two-ply non-stick, with a special formula that insures quick release of high-sugared bake goods. The pans themselves are the same heavy-gauge aluminum as the first generation of Calphalon bakewear.My baking results with these pans have been excellent. I'm an experienced baker, and I like to bake cookies, cakes, muffins, and nut breads. I've found that I can use these pans for baking without need for any pre-greasing, pan sprays, Silpat or Matfer liners, or parchment paper. Having never owned decent bakeware, I fell in love with this set as soon as I opened the package this morning! It's much heavier than grocery-store bakeware (my only previous bakeware), and built to last a lifetime. I probably will buy another set, but just to have extras to cut baking time in half. From using Calphalon at my parents' house, I know the quality. It makes a huge difference in appearance and texture of the dishes I make.
Bottom line: buy this set! If you don't, you'll regret it.
