This review is from: Chicago Metallic Commercial 2-Piece Low-Fat Meatloaf Pan (Kitchen) The instructions say to wash before use, and that it is dishwasher safe. After only one run in the dishwasher both pieces were rusted! I had not even used it yet. It is badly rusted, and The Wire Whisk is not a comapny I will deal with in the future. They said they will "be inspecting the pan when they get it back" and based on that only then will they refund my money. This pan was Made in China. Perhaps the pan will still perform well, but I would have not purchased had I known this in advance. This is our third "healthy" meatloaf pan which bakes the meatloaf in an inner pan allowing the fat to render through the bottom holes and collect in the outer pan. I say this is our third pan, but it is our first Chicago Metallic Commercial pan....and it may be our last pan.....as I'm not sure this pan will ever die. It seems to be built like a battleship and will probably outlast me and my children. Highly recommended! |
