Summary: Really Non-stick! 2010-08-24
Comment: I purchased these for home baking to replace an older pan which was not non-stick. With these pans I just use a quick burst of cooking spray to prep the pan for a loaf and put it in the oven. When baking is done, the contents slide out easily. This is quicker and a lower fat alternative to prep with shortening or butter so I am very happy with this purchase.
As another reviewer noted, though a standard this size is a litte small. I would like it if they were also available in a 5" by 9" size.
Comment: Love Chicago Metallic brand bakeware. Everything bakes up consistently even - in them. They clean up easily, nice and sturdy - no rust. Baking sheets are excellent too. Granted I bake a LOT, however have experienced no problems with warping. Other "more expensive" brands I've purchased did. My cookies used to get a little too done on the edges or burned & a little to underdone in the centers, since using this bakeware no longer have that problem. I highly recommend Chicago Metallic bakeware for all your baking needs. Since finding this brand - color me a life-long fan. Wish I'd known about their bakeware earlier on.
This medium loaf pan is just the right size for making Ribbon Cookies in - Simply place a piece of wax paper inside & over the edges 1st. Next press each layer into it, lift out once cold & ready to slice. Used it to bake all kinds of breads in it & it they consistenly bake evenly and turn out great.

Comment: It's not cheap - but from the few times I have used this medium loaf size pan it has performed quite well.
I use this loaf pan for banana bread + pumpkin. It seems to brown the bread without issue and the non-stick
makes it easy to clean up.
I bought it online because this size is often hard to find outside of the Thanksgiving holiday season.

Comment: I was disappointed because this pan was smaller than I imagined.
We were happy to pay the higher price for an American made pan? It was made in China!!!!
We have not used the pan yet, so I can not address the pan in use.
