Comment: This pan is nice and heavy with a good and stiff rolled edge. It has a good heft to it and the coating is slick and the loaves come out easily with a spatula run around the edges. I liked it so much that I bought another for a matched pair.

Comment: This Cusinart loaf pan is made off shore - is is small and thin and poorly made. You will NOT be glad you bought it! SEE this heavy duty, nonstick quality pan: USA Pans 10 x 5 x 2.75 Inch Loaf Pan, Aluminized Steel with Americoat which is so well made that you'll be thrilled. I was not at all familiar with USA pans until a friend who loves them gave me the loaf pan. USA pans are all made in the USA and ALL are lifetime pans! They cost more, but you get what you pay for! At least check them out before you accept a cheap pan. The loaf size comes in three lengths: 10 inch, 9 inch, and 8.5 inch. USA Pans 9 x 5 x 2.75 Inch Loaf Pan, Aluminized Steel with Americoat or USA Pans 8.5 x 4.5 Inch Aluminized Steel Loaf Pan with Americoat Loaf Pan.

Comment: I already had 3 loaf pans but Amazon was doing a 4 for 3 Cuisinart bakeware special. I was buying new cake pans and figured I'd add the loaf pan as my free one. I am so glad I did! It is now my #1 loaf pan. I have done a banana bread and zucchini bread in it and they cooked evenly without overbrowning the top, and popped right out after the initial 10 minute cooling period. EASY to clean too. I hand wash all my non-stick bakeware and everything came right off with warm soapy water and a sponge. I hope the cake pans are this great too.

Comment: My biggest disappointment is that this pan scratches and rusts. I would recomment trying the Chicago Metallic loaf pans.
