I usually have to place items in the refrigerator after a few days, and have not since acquiring this product. I have placed a variety of breads including potato, multi-grain as well as crisp bread, and have experienced edible results. It fits any size loaf (other than some odd sized Artisinal loaf). It holds quick breads, homemade breads, and even the odd fat/rectangular ones that come out of bread machines. You can even slice the homemade bread and put the slices in it, and they don't dry out like they do it bags.
