I could not wait to try the "Fat Daddio's" pans after reading the really favorable reviews. Well I'm here to say, they are excellent! My Banana & Pumpkin breads baked perfectly. The crust was nicely browned...just right. The baked quick breads just fell out of the pans. No sticking. I did spray them with Bakers Joy. For the price paid, these pans are a wonderful value. My only gripe, was the made in China label. Still in all they are well made, sturdy pans.

These pans are smooth, substantial, and seamless - great features for loaf baking. I've been using them for holiday fruitcakes, which I still like to line with greased parchment paper. Because of their seamless interior, the paper goes in easily and without any air pockets that can mar the surface of the finished product. I wash them in the dishwasher, though they clean up easily by hand as well. I bought four of them and I'm very happy with the purchase, though I had to wait patiently until they came into stock. Recommended without reservations.

I bought two of these pans to make homemade bread. I use my bread machine to do the first knead and first rise, then put the dough in these pans to do the second rise and baking. They do such a wonderful job. The pans are the perfect size for one pound loaf. (I make a two pound batch and split it in half.) The size is similar to the Wonder bread you buy in stores, but I know what is going in the bread that I make! The only negative I have found is that I don't think I can put them in the dishwasher, as I am afraid the curled lip might start to rust. It's a small price to pay, and something I am willing to do for these pans.
