I ordered this product to replace my Silpats that I have used for about four years. I was looking for a less expensive alternative and, boy, did I find it!

I can use both sides of the mats, not just the one side as with the Silpat. It has markings on it so you don't have to use a ruler if you don't want to. Cookies just slide right off of them. I am very impressed with this product.

I have used several brands of Silicone Baking Mats in varying price ranges, from You-Get-What-You-Pay-For-Cheap to More-Than-I-Should-Have-Spent-Expensive. The Fox Run Silicone Baking Mat is comparable to more expensive baking mats, and it's very reasonably priced.

In the few weeks I've had this mat, I've used it to make tofu, several types of cookies, biscotti, and focaccia. It's performed well on all occasions: nothing sticks and everything bakes evenly. It's thicker than some of the other mats I have, and I like the heavier weight. Some baking mats are very sticky-feeling, but this one is not.

So far, this mat hasn't retained food odors; however, I haven't cooked anything particularly pungent on it (I keep this one for cookies, breads, etc...I use another one for foods with garlic, onions, etc). I bought 3 of them. They were lower cost than silpats and other brands. They look nice, feel nice, and work perfectly. Non-stick cookies, roasts, etc. Easy to clean. Fit half-sheet pan perfectly. If you're in the market for silicone baking mats, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and buy it.
