Comment: I use this pan frequently to make meatloaf. It drains off all the grease and still leaves a wonderfully moist meatloaf. I have owned others like this one made by other companies and have been disappointed at how quickly the non stick finish started to peel off. This one is a dream and dishwasher safe. The bottom pan is also great for baking breads.

Comment: The KitchenAid Cooks Series Meat Loaf pan is wonderful! I've been looking for a meat loaf pan for years because I wanted to find a pan that removes the meat from the grease drippings, and this pan does so beautifully. The inner pan where the meat loaf cooks lifts out of the outer pan where all the grease is. The meat loaf comes less greasy, but not dry.

Finally a product that can bring these two great loves together.

The top tray is designed for making meatloaf.
The holes in the top tray allow fat and juices to drip down into the bottom tray.
The fat can then be skimmed off and the juices used for making gravy.

The bottom tray can also be used for baking bread.

Bread + Meat Loaf + Gravy = Mmmmm

I'm a big fan of Kitchen Aid products but not all of them are well designed.
These are very heavy duty pans and well designed.
