Amazon.com Review
Looking nothing like traditional bakeware but borrowing many of its best characteristics, Lekue's loaf pan cooks evenly, releases food easily, and is made of FDA approved food grade silicone. It takes some getting used to, but the pliable silicone construction carries many advantages such as immediate cool-down, the prevention of burnt edges and crusts, and a foldability that extends storage options. Cooking times may be slightly shorter but the versatile pan comfortably handles everything from breads and cakes to meats and vegetables. Nonstick surfaces help food to release easily but greasing is still a good idea--especially if regularly being washed in the dishwasher. Freezer-, microwave-, and oven-safe up to 500 degrees F, the pan seamlessly transitions from cold to hot and back again. Contact with direct heat sources such as burners or hotplates should be avoided and sharp metal tools can damage or cut the material. The pan measures 9-1/2 by 4 by 2-1/2 inches and benefits from a quick rinse before use as small crumbs and particles easily adhere to its rubbery surface. -- Amy Arnold

I have purchased a number of different brands of silicone bakeware; Lekue is by far the best. This 9" pan is perfect for baking 1 - 1 1/2 pounds of dough into a perfect bread loaf. The dough doesn't stick to the pan at all, it bakes thoroughly, and clean-up is a breeze. Lekue can handle temperatures of 450 degrees easily; I haven't baked anything at a higher temperature, so can't comment on that aspect of the product.
In comparing Roshco, Llorente, and Lekue silicone bakeware, the Lekue is, in my opinion, far superior to the other two brands. Roshco is flimsy and fails to hold its shape; Llorente has some problems with sticking so that one must spray the pan with nonstick.

I started with just one, to see if I like it, and now I'm going to order a few more. The pan holds it's shape well, without having to be supported, unlike some of the other silicone baking pans out there.

I bought this to replace the old silicone pan. When this new pan arrived I didn't realize it is rather small: it measures 9-1/2 inches with the very generous rim (I think it is different from the one pictured). So first time I baked my usual size bread - the dough fell out and made a mess in the oven. Needless to say I still keep the old one. However, the pan is well made, the (diminished size) loaf comes out easily, there is no smell of plastic, and the pan is sturdy enough, so the loaf keeps its shape during baking.
