Summary: Nice corn bread. 2008-12-17
Comment: I use the scone pan for corn bread. If my wife and I use a standard corn bread pan, it is too much, or if less mix is used, the corn bread is too thin. The compartments work just right to bake a serving with a little left over for later. I thought the pan was not enough like the cast iron one I have used, but the compartments give just the right crust all around each serving.

Summary: i love this pan! 2008-12-06
Comment: i've been in a scone phase although i KNOW this pan would be great for biscuits cornbread even rolls really after its performace with the scones this morning. after i greased the pan with shortening and the scones were done literally i flipped it over a plate and they all went on the plate perfectly done and not ONE of them stuck. no scraping no ruined awful looking half burned scones- after having to deal with a horrible cake pan that ruined a previous batch you just dont know how wonderful that was to witness today ( to be honest i was skeptical but it was a good price) it makes perfect size scones not too big too small. and beyond the shortening it was the easiest pan i've ever had the pleasure to use. dont look any longer you found the pan you need in this one!

Summary: Perfect for cornbread and scones 2008-11-19
Comment: This small pan has a hefty weight to it. It bakes food evenly and clean up is a breeze. I like it so much that I will buy the smaller scone pan version. Except for the cheaper, lighter weight Nordic Ware products which I do not recommend, all other NW products have been a joy to bake treats. Also to preserve the pan, I recommend hand washing only.

Summary: Scones made Easy! 2008-04-10
Comment: I ordered the scone pan wondering if it would make much of a difference in ease of preparation. Yes,it does. No worrying about measuring amounts of dough. You just add more liquid to the batter, yours or a King Arthur mix, fill the sections of the pan and bake. Presto! Perfect scones!
