Norpro 3 Piece Canape Bread Mold Set

I just tried a flower-shaped bread tube this weekend with homemade butter roll dough, and it worked wonderfully! If you are a baker or have a friend who is, this is quite a neat idea. My fear was that the pan would not release the bread, but the shaped loaf positively Fell Out! I plan to try a variety of things including making seasoned croutons for a unexpected, special touch for salads.

After spraying the interior with cooking spray, the dough is put into the tube and allowed to rise. The lid is then added and the tube is baked in the oven with the perforated top pointed upward. Easy as pie- nothing to it! The included instructions suggest using them as cutters as well as a baking form.

I borrowed a friend's Pampered Chef flower bread mold to make little sandwiches for my daughter's birthday party and then saw this set and ordered them too. I used my friend's and this one so I could made 2 loaves at once to save time and couldn't tell a bit of difference between them. I used Pilsbury French Bread Dough from the can, so easy. The sandwiches turned out sooo cute and everyone loved them. Great deal to get all three for such a great price! Can't wait to use the star one for the 4th of July!!

These molds make baking a delight. Now I will be looking for even more molds to add to the collection.
