This review is from: Rehrucken Mold Biscotti Loaf Pan - 12.25 Inch Length (Kitchen) I had to use this item before I could actually review it as we all should fairly do. I didn't get any instructions with it so I had to improvise. I sprayed them with oil b4 plunking in the dough. So glad I did that as I had to remove the dough, separate into 2 loaves, and into the 2 pans I bought. One batch of normal Biscotti dough using 3 cups of flour was just right for 2 loaves. Having the 2 pans made baking much faster than having only one.
The ribbed shape of this pan is excellent for cutting the same sized Biscotti. I do recommend this pan it makes the finished Biscotti look much more professional. These are not as wide across as many of the store bought Biscotti are but about 4" wide. All in all it was a good purchase I am glad I made. 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Rehrucken Mold Biscotti Loaf Pan - 12.25 Inch Length (Kitchen) I was very pleased with the product. The finished biscotti was professional looking in appearance. I would have preferred receiving instructions regarding preparation of the pan before I attempted to bake for the first time. A pamphlet with easy first-time recipes would have also been a nice touch. However, the pans I purchased worked well. I should have been suspicious when the other reviews indicated no instructions came with them. I am not going to try making Biscotti with these as the shape would be rafically different than traditional. I am looking forward to making a Rehrucken log as the recipes I have found look good. I like making unusual or ethnic deserts so all is not lost. I will also give my cake baker daughter-in-law a pan since I do not need two. |
