I have several of these types of pans made by Kitchen-Aid and I absolutly love them. I purchased this loaf pan because it's half the price as Kitchen-Aid. Well, you get what you pay for! This pan is so flimsy, when you pour the batter into it, the sides bow out and you get a really odd shaped whatever you're making. Also, the sides cook and the center doesn't. Or you leave it in longer and the sides burn and the center cooks. Bottom line, silicone bakeware is great, but not manufactured by this company.

My experience with silicon bakeware has been very positive; I love my Llorente. However, the price is awful and their bread pans are not standard sized. I ordered these because they were larger than Llorente's and I'll be using them for doughs. I haven't tried them yet, but think they will be satisfactory. Nevertheless, I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewer. These pans are not structurally reinforced, and I wouldn't recommend using them for any batter breads. I checked on similar pans at the national home stores and what is being carried is no more sturdy than these pans. Further, the pans are 2 1/2 to 3 times more expensive. If Roshco had a frame or sled device available, that might solve the problem. Bottom line - pay more and get really sturdy stuff from Llorente or work with these pans and save money.

I bought a couple of these because they were inexpensive. Still, it works great for making bread and making meatloaf, which is all I've used it for.

It's not flimsy, its silicone - the thicker you make the walls, the sturdier it'll feel, but (of course) thicker walls impede heat's progress, so there's a tradeoff to be made...For my baking, I prefer the thinner walls.
