I usually bake several loaves of homemade bread every week. This kind of a pan is wonderful to use. It cleans up great. The stainless steel is very forgiving if you leave it in the oven a little too long. I have used these kinds of pans for years and they hold up well with a lot of use. I would recommend this product.

These pans are of first quality, medium-heavy gauge stainless steel, with rolled-edge lips and no sharp edges or corners. The lips make these pans easy to handle, coming out of or going into the oven. Their volume is 1.21 quarts, which is perfect, for one quart loaf cakes or 60 cubic inch bread loaves, since it allows room for expansion and rising, during baking, without overflow. We bought 4, to replace ones we've worn out. The inside bends (sides and bottoms) are rounded, making for easy release and even cooking.
If you work in the one quart loaf size, these are an excellent choice. Also, since they're not aluminum or coated, they're much safer, in our opinion.

I got tired of the short lifespan of most non-stick loaf pans that start to rust the first time they are washed. After years of putting up with that garbage and having to line my pans with parchment paper so they wouldn't get rust on everything I baked, I decided to look for other options. I have a favorite stainless steel cake pan that I have used for nearly 30 years and still looks as good as new so I decided to look for stainless steel to replace all of my loaf pans. I found this one (Norpro brand) on Amazon and decided to give it a try and ordered a few. I was immediately impressed with the pans right out of the package. As other reviewers have mentioned, these pans are heavy-duty quality, with nice, rolled edges. In fact, the quality and style match the cake pan I love so much. I feel confident these loaf pans will last forever. I'm so happy to have found them!
