It works great, and I've very seldom had bread come out badly. This is not true with other breadmakers--my mom has never been happy with hers. This model is very simple to use, with three program buttons--What kind of bread (regular, whole wheat, or dough), crust color (light, med, or dark), and on/off. I think this is what makes the bread come out well. Add your liquid ingredients first, then bread flour and other dry igredients and add the yeast last. If you'll add the yeast to the top farthest point from the dough paddle you really will get a better loaf so the yeast doesn't activate too fast. The manual is easy to follow and has enough good recipes to keep me busy for awhile. It has a twist lock bread pan. It's as simple as adding your ingredients pushing a couple of buttons and come back to fresh bread. It makes a vertical loaf, which I really like for a more uniform shape. The small viewing window isn't a mistake, actually it's a good feature because having a window that's too large can cause condensation to drip onto the loaf and make the crust soggy. If you'll notice, most older panasonic bread makers don't even have a viewing window for this reason. I've made several types of bread and each one has come out perfect. Unfortunately it didn't work, bread didn't even initially start the kneading proccess. Received a full refund. |
