Product Description
3/4 LB, Sandstone, Just For Dinner Bread Maker, Fresh Bread In 45 Minutes, 3/4 LB Dinner Size Loaf, 2 Button Operation, Basic/Specialty & 50% Wheat Settings, 1 Hour Keep Warm Option, Compact Design.
Amazon.com Review
Ideal for dinner parties of two or four, this breadmaker produces aromatic, piping hot fresh bread in 45 minutes. Compact enough to easily fit on a countertop (or table!), the appliance produces loaves that are 3-1/2 inches by 5-1/2 inches and 4-1/2 inches tall, just the right size for intimate dinner parties. The oval bread pan gives the loaves a distinctive shape and a little dimple. Operation is as easy as putting the dough into the breadmaker and pressing two buttons, and several recipes are included, such as sunflower oat wheat, Swiss-jalapeņo, and feta cheese--and nutritional information for each recipe is also included. The directions are extensive, complete with a troubleshooting guide. The breadmaker's viewing window is especially nice, and lets you watch your bread take shape. This breadmaker comes with a 90-day warranty. --Ariel Meadow Stallings

Summary: Perfect for Three 2010-02-09
Comment: I bought this bread maker 7 years ago, & it's still working the same as when I first bought it. Before this we had a huge 2 full loaf maker, it was loud and for us WAY to big. This makes a nice sized loaf for 2 adults and a 14 year old boy (who LOVES making his own ideas). If you can find one, go for it.

Comment: I'm completely satisfied with this breadmaker and very disappointed to find that it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. It fits our full-time RV life perfectly.

The loaf size is perfect for two people. Would not work for a family.

Summary: I love my bread machine 2009-09-27
Comment: I bought this on Amazon used and I have used it off and on for a few years now. What a great way to save money and enjoy fresh homemade bread.

Since the economy has gone south, I have been making my own bread. I have gotten comfortable enough to alter the recipe slightly to make personal improvements - like adding more margarine so it is less dry. It means more calories but I don't mind. Oh did I mention that the bread is done under an hour?!

Since I am using it so much, I think I need to purchase a new pot and mixing paddle but I don't mind since I depend on this appliance so much.

Summary: Convenient, fast, not for everyone 2008-11-15
Comment: I bought this machine about 16 months ago and have used it approximately four or five hundred times. I personally am glad I got it, but it may not be the right choice for you.

Pros:
- Inexpensive, reliable and trouble-free, very fast baking, extremely easy to set up and use, useful instructions and recipe list.

Cons:
- Loaf size is 3/4 pound, which isn't enough to provide a meal for more than 1 person (2 if they eat like birds). Machine needs about 5 mins to cool off between loaves, so there's only so much food it can supply in X time.
- Machine lacks the baking flexibility of more expensive models; you get only wheat and white settings, and can't control rising or baking time except by restarting the cycle over again. This hasn't been a real problem for me, but more sophisticated cooks need to look elsewhere.
- You need to scrape a finger in the mix about 2-3 mins after cycle start to help it get all the ingredients knocked into the path of the beater. Otherwise you end up with a streak along the side of the loaf.

Favorite recipe: "Healthy French Wheat"

1/2 to 3/4 cup water
1/2 tablespoon olive oil (not vegetable oil, butter, or pomance oil)
1 cup white flour (all-purpose, not bread flour)
1/4 cup wheat flour
2 teaspoons instant yeast (buy this stuff by the pound - don't get those overpriced retail jars)
2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Use the "wheat" setting. Costs about 35 cents per pound. :)

Summary: Love this Breadmaker!! 2008-08-06
Comment: I have had this breadmaker for many months now and it has done perfect on every loaf I have made. I have tried almost every recipe that came with it and they have ALL turned out wonderful. Yes the loaves are small but they are enough for me and my sweet hubby! I highly recommend this product!
