This review is from: Wilton Easy Flex Silicone Four Cavity Mini Loaf Pan (Kitchen) I bought these solely for freezing homemade soup stock in. The size of each block (about one cup) is perfect. Each pan yields me about one quart of frozen stock. I peel the frozen blocks of soup stock out of the pan and put in gallon ziplock bags. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Wilton Easy Flex Silicone Four Cavity Mini Loaf Pan (Kitchen) I purchased this wanting something easy to use for baking, it is great for making small corn bread or other specialty bread. I really like it for what I use it for. It takes a little getting used to as it is a not very solid and I put it in a small cake pan when I am baking with it. The bread comes out easy and it is very clean up. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Wilton Easy Flex Silicone Four Cavity Mini Loaf Pan (Kitchen) I bought this pan to freeze my broths, soups and sauces. After freezing a pasta sauce I was sold. The loaf cavities hold exactly 2 cups which, coincidentally, is a very common amount called for in many recipes. You do need to place it on a rigid flat surface while freezing. There is no running the tray under hot water to release the frozen gold, the pan just peels back from the brick. I wrap them individually in plastic wrap and put them in a 1 gal. freezer bag into which the four loaves fit perfectly. I am eager to actually bake in it. |
