Product Description
Zojirushi Panorama Window CDLCC30 Micom Dispensing Pot
Amazon.com Review
A handy workhorse for homes where tea is a staple, this 3.0-liter Micom pot from Zojirushi boils water then keeps it hot. Equipped with a handy electric dispenser, the unit requires no pouring and makes it easy to fill mug after mug or add a quick shot of hot water to a bowl of oatmeal or ramen. A micro-computerized heating system monitors water temperature precisely and includes a re-boil mode and three keep-warm settings of 175, 195, or 208 degrees F. In addition, a dechlorinating mode helps reduce chlorine and odors, while a descaling mode cleans the interior pot. The unit also has a timer so you can program it to have water hot on your schedule.

The pot's control touchpad is cleanly laid out, with satisfying buttons, function lights, and a digital display that shows present water temperature, temperature setting, and remaining time. An automatic lock helps keep fingers safe, and an automatic safety device cuts power to prevent overheating. Other helpful details include a wrap-around water level gauge, a 360-degree swivel base, a nonstick interior, a removable power cord, and a basket-style handle to simplify transport. The pot is no speed demon, taking about 27 minutes to boil a 3.0 liters, but its convenience makes up for the initial time investment. Zojirushi also makes the pot in 2.2-liter and 4.0-liter versions. --Emily Bedard

Summary: Simply amazing 2010-07-29
Comment: For tea drinkers like me and my wife, this is a must-have. We have used it for over three years, no problem at all, typical made-in Japan quality. We keep it plugged in 24/7 unless we are on vacation. It needs a little cleaning once in a while due to the bottom built-up. Other than that, it's maintenance free. Worth every penny.

Summary: It was very disappointed! 2010-01-12
Comment: I had a stainless steel (inner area) Airpot from Zojirushi years ago, it works great and I got tired of it (I wanted a newer model), so I gave it to my friend, who just love it for her new born at the time. That was few years ago, when I gave it to her. That pot served me over 10 years.
This newer model is fancier with the computer temp and reboil bottoms, I was happy with it. I notice this one hard water build up faster then the older model, and after a year, the taste of the water got funnier, I just don't like it anymore, I gave it away to another friend, who does not notice anything wrong with the taste. Who was very appreciated for this expensive boiler. After a year, I was told the inner area of the cover broke, due to the steam and usage. I could not believed only after couple of years of use. It's a fine product, for the price I paid, I would expect it last longer like the first one, it's not the case. I now switch to another brand that cost about 1/2 as much, does the same job.

Summary: Rust spot after a few years 2009-06-02
Comment: The hot water start tasting like metallic one day. We open it up an there are a few rust spots. I'm quite disappoint with this Made In Japan product that I paid over $100 for it. I'm now a new owner of Chinese brand hot water pot that has stainless steel interior. I hope it last longer than this one.

Summary: Typical Zojirushi quality 2008-11-26
Comment: A well-made, well-functioning device. It heats water quickly, and keeps it as hot as you want it. Dispenses easily. Simple!

Summary: fast and fun 2008-10-04
Comment: Faster then my gas range top for the same volume of water plus the ability to hold at various temps all-day-long and to add more water as needed is great. Wonderful for filling my French Press or for making cups of tea. Loved my Zojirushi rice maker so much I had to give this product a try and I haven't regretted it.
